I hope this news letter finds everyone well and in good health for the holiday season.
We at Giant Paw Rescue have been busy finishing up our new website, rescuing dogs, feeding dogs, walking dogs, and of course preparing for the holidays that are upon us!
In November we were very blessed to find new and forever families for two of our dogs, Cody and Caviar. And the month of December has started of with Santa Clause coming early to Duchess, who found her forever home with the Moon family. And Bella, our very first Lakeway adoption, went home with the Landry family to help promote their family business, The Donut Hole. Rumor has it her nickname maybe the “Donut Dane”!
And last but not least, Harry, our male Saint Bernard, and mascot of Giant Paw Rescue, found his forever family with The Ramsey family. We at Giant Paw as well as Harry had one very special wish for Christmas and that was for Harry to find his new family. That wish came true for us all. Harry also came through his heartworm treatment like the champ, looks great, and is very happy being “The Dog” in his new home!
I would like to say “Thank you” from the bottom of my heart to each of the families that opened their hearts and their homes to one of our Giant dogs. I am so blessed and at peace to know that they have not only been given a new chance in life, but a forever and loving home.
Before I close, I would l also like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of my volunteers, family and friends that have helped make Giant Paw Rescue a success these past 6 months. I could not have done it without your hard work, time and effort. I would also like to thank Furry Friends Web Design, for our beautiful new website! So, here’s to you and many more successful years together rescuing and placing our Giant Breeds with their forever families!
